Produced between 1948 and 1956, it was known as Modell 21 just in Italy, everywhere else it’s known as Modell 8, being extremely similar to the previous Modell.
The melting structure is exactly the same and also the carriage with helicoidal screw and the loading mass.
The slicing regulator is the one with bakelite knob and the sliding joint pin is now oval and covered.
The flywheel is solid with the Berkel’s decal on it. The blade, 370mm of diameter, is set on the arch abutment with the face made of white opaline glass.
The sharpener has changed, but the mechanism is the Berkel’s classic with casing and front cover, just a bit reduced in size and used for the first time in Modell 9.
