Produced between 1918 and 1922, this model is important in the history of Van Berkel’s products. In Italy it was distributed by “Bach Milan” and from other dealers in the rest of the world.
For the first time the carriage runs on a joint-pin and the flywheel is pierced. With the pawl mechanism, the upper carriage takes/pushes the worm screw directly to the slicing regulation clock.
The clamp, to fix the product, has the classic fore rack and a new rapid system on a back stud bolt.
The blade sharpener is a chrome plated case with a renewed movement. The blade, 350mm of diameter, is set on the round abutment; both the metal tray and the plate, different according to the country of production, are fixed to it.
